My 1989 S10 BAJA

Here is my Baja as I bought it, almost 10 years ago...

Here is how she looked in 2002, with Southern doors and box, a Cervinis cowl hood, Bushwacker fender flares, new fenders, cab corners and rocker panels. Also running a 2" Superlift suspension lift and new Eagle Alloy Rims.

Under the hood, the 4.3L had a Poweraid TB spacer, Edelbrock Victor series water pump, Edelbrock intake, and Flexlite fan.

In June 2003, I had to take my Baja off the road due to fatal rusting of the frame - the frame buckled on the jack.  The entire frame was pretty much rotted and rusted away from years of wheeling and life in the NY road salt. In addition to the frame, the brake lines and fuel lines were also suspect. The truck was no longer safe to drive on the road and the search for a donor frame began.

I found a 1976 Chevrolet K5 Cheyenne - Low-mileage Jasper-rebuilt 350, THM350, unadulterated NP203 Full time 4wd transfer case, Dana 44 Front, GM Corporate 12 bolt rear. Frame was in good shape, body was shot.  So after driving and wheeling it for a few years, I finally took it off the road to begin the 'Hybrid' project in fall of 2006.

You can check out the whole build here:

Here is how she looks right now:

It is now running 37" Super Swamper Boggers on Outlaw II rims.  The motor is mildly modified with headers, a Weiand Stealth intake and a Holley 670cfm Truck Avenger Carb.
